Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Madeleine Grossmayer is a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing since 2009. Her experience includes counseling children, adults, elders, and families. She has been an in-home therapist where she worked with children and families in their home and engaged in the school setting. Madeleine has been a part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals that consist of teachers, parents, speech therapists, occupational therapist, physical therapists, and psychiatrists in order to help the children succeed both at home and in school. She has also been active in the Alzheimer community helping families and caregivers understand and cope with with the effects of this disease and the changes that transpire. Madeleine has run Alzheimer’s/caregiver support groups, provided one-on-one counseling, and education to caregivers. She has linked these families to resources in the community and been a voice for the individual needs.

Currently, Madeleine is practicing at Brain & Wellness Center where she is a Neurofeedback therapist. She has found in her time working as a Neurofeedback therapist that there is an alternative approach to help those individuals who find they are unable to move forward in the traditional therapeutic process. Neurofeedback has shown to be a great alternative and motivator for those people.
